Designed to fit in the side pockets of most UL packs, the Long Skinny Heavy Duty adds extra carry capacity.

Great for carrying extra food, clothes, shelter or whatever and keeping it dry.

I don't recommend fully submerging them in water. Much heavier rubberised dry bags are recommended for that application. In my opinion, this is true of all DCF dry bags. They will definitely provide reasonable protection if you fall into a lake/river but not for swimming all day.

This differs from the standard Long Skinny dry bag in Two ways. Heavier weight DCF (1.43 Oz) and a side release buckle closure (rather than snaps). The buckle closure means it can be hung with food in it.

Made from 1.43 Oz DCF and fully seam taped.

All volumes and measurements are with the top rolled three times and clipped shut.

A note about  approximate volume.

Measurements are as exact as I can make them but volume is generally understated. Volume is calculated using the products dimensions and a volume calculator. Approximate volume does not take into account that fabric items bulge when stuffed full, therefore "real world" volume will be slightly larger.

Great DCF bags!

I was lucky enough to borrow a couple of the long, skinny DCF bags for a backcountry trip recently. They add great versatility for packing options - used them for my food and they fit perfectly in long, skinny zip pouches on my winter pack (leaving lots of room for climbing gear inside). They also fit well in the big side pockets that most packs have these days. Great addition for versatility in packing, and of course the build quality is excellent.
